Mission Statement

The West Georgia RESA team is committed to promoting student achievement through collaboration, innovation, service and leadership.

Safe & Drug Free Schools at West Georgia RESA started off the Summer Professional Learning by holding its annual Health & Wellness Week.  Day one focused on alcohol education with Dr. Merrill Norton from the University of Georgia.  Mary Johnson facilitated days two and three with best practices in bullying prevention and intervention.  John Darden finished the week leading an interactive session on classroom activities to use with students when talking about HIV/AIDS and sexually transmitted diseases.  Contact Connie Hill or Eveann Howard at West Georgia RESA if you have questions or suggestions for upcoming trainings.
