RESA Hosts High School Summit
Recently high school administrators, central office staff, DOE staff and RESA staff convened at RESA for our first High School Summit. Topics discussed by participants were Math I and Math II, Reading and Writing Skills and Improving Graduation Rates. RESA staff facilitated the three discussion groups and reports from each group discussion were shared with the Summit participants. Next steps on each topic were generated and the participants agreed to conduct a second High School Summit in December or January to continue the dialogue on how we can improve student achievement in our high schools.
