Core Values
We know that quality programs have the capacity to change young lives and we believe that our charge requires financial assistance to support quality environments and materials, educated and skilled professionals providing enriching, developmentally appropriate opportunities and the promotion of same to encourage the continuous program improvement necessary to sustain the highest quality programming!

What is GSACA?
The Georgia School Age Care Association is a member based, statewide, professional organization for those who work with school-age kids in after school programs, before school programs, or during the summer. GSACA trainers provide training, technical assistance and consultation to providers.

Who is GSACA?
GSACA has been working for over 20 years to improve the quality of school age care in Georgia.  Our members represent a broad array of providers including local Boards of Education, Parks and Recreation Departments, YMCA's, YWCA's, Boys and Girls Clubs, church-based programs and many public and private programs.  GSACA offers professional development, financial and technical assistance, networking opportunities, program support, research and advocacy to those who care for our children and youth.

“The role of the National AfterSchool Association, the field's primary membership and professional organization, is to serve the after school professional. Our business is to help accomplish three primary objectives; help professionalize the after school field; help attract and retain quality individuals to the field by providing (or directing them to) the tools and resources they need to grow professionally; and the end result, to improve program quality and outcomes for children and youth.  NAA looks forward to assisting GSACA as they strive to achieve even greater impact on quality of care in Georgia.”
