Teaching Math for Understanding using Investigations in Number, Data and Space

K-5 mathematics teachers from across the region both presented and learned from each other during part 1 of the “Teaching for Understanding Using Investigations in Number, Data and Space” conference held at Clarke Central High School.  Area teachers that presented were: Jacquie Harlan, Angel Nash,  Susan Scott, Kerri Ledbetter, Amy Bowers, Jennifer Mangleburg,  Amy Seymour, Michelle Prather, Michelle Watkins, Karen Gerow, Brian Madej, Kate Arnold and Tamara Bolden.  Part 1 of the workshop focused on math content, enabling teachers to build a better repertoire for classroom discourse.
