Our thirteen member school systems established the Northeast Georgia RESA to provide cooperative educational services on July 1, 1973. Since that time, services have become diverse but have consistently focused on the improvement of teaching and learning in the schools of our systems. Everything we do must in some way contribute to better learning opportunities for the students of this region.

This mission has attracted the finest teachers, consultants and service workers in Georgia to come our way. The staff of this RESA is a dream come true for any Director. From among the RESA staff and local system educators, I am privileged to work with my personal heroes each day. I thank the RESA staff and the first class educators of Northeast Georgia for expecting and providing for a strong RESA.
