Leadership Rule Change Made at PSC Meeting November 8

According to the PSC, “the major change to the Educational Leadership rule involves an extension of the "grandfathering" date from September 1, 2008 to September 30, 2009. Individuals who enter the existing programs before July, 2008 and complete all requirements by the September 30, 2009 date will be grandfathered under the old Leadership rule. Upon recommendation by the approved provider, these individuals would receive the old "L" certificate. PSC-approved Leadership programs will continue to close admission of any new students into the old programs in July, 2008 and open their new Performance-Based Leadership programs in the fall of 2009.”
