Online Teaching Endorsement

 (150 contact hours, 15 PLUs, Certification Add-on)

Middle Georgia RESA GaPSC approved Online Teaching Endorsement for a total of 15 PLUs. The target audience for this course is professional educators who desire to enter the world of online teaching and learning. This program endeavors to abide by and provide expertise in accordance with PSC rule
Even though there is no certification for “teaching college” - the online teaching skills learned would be so helpful in any position.  If a person ever returned to a school teaching at his/her base certificate field - he/she would have new “extended” skills from the endorsement.

Candidate admission to the MGRESA Endorsement Program requires the following:
  • A valid, level 4 or higher Induction, Professional, Advanced Professional, or Lead Professional teaching certificate is required for program admission.

This is a job-embedded program. Candidates must practice skills with students.

Candidates must register online under Online Registration for each course of the Online Teaching Endorsement and follow the link to print the application for system approval.
