Mentor Stipend:

In addition to the fees paid to Metro RESA, it is the candidate's responsibility to pay Metro RESA the following stipend or to make arrangements with their school system to pay the mentor stipend in systems where this is an option.  Mentor stipends are paid at the end of each school year and are due to Metro RESA by May 15 of each year.

Year One Mentor Stipend Payment:  $500.00

Year Two Mentor Stipend Payment: $500.00

edTPA Submission Fee: $300.00- must be paid third semester when submitting the edTPA portfolio. 

      

Fees for the Georgia Teacher Academy for Preparation and Pedagogy are evaluated annually and subject to change.  Potential and current candidates are to visit the Metro RESA web site for current program fees.

 

We accept payment via the following methods only:

  • Cashier's Check
  • Major Credit Card (except Discover)

Program fees must be received by the due dates listed above - NO EXCEPTIONS!!

 

 We do NOT send invoices- payment is the responsibility of the candidate. Failure to pay program fees on or before the dates listed above can result in termination of the candidate's program enrollment and revocation of the teaching certificate related to program enrollment. A payment that is ten or more days late will result in a non-compliance form being filed.  PAYMENTS 15 OR MORE DAYS LATE CAN RESULT IN PROGRAM TERMINATION. 

  • All fees are the responsibility of the candidate.
  • All fees are subject to change based on enrollment and are non-refundable.
  • Under extenuating circumstances where candidates remain in the program beyond year two, an additional fee of $1500.00 is charged and covers services for up to one additional semester.
