2015 AgDay at the Capitol

The NC Agribusiness Council has an exciting event scheduled for Wednesday, March 18, 2015....NC AgAwareness Day at the Capitol (aka AgDay).  At this year's AgDay, I am anticipating over a thousand. AgLeaders from across the state to attend the day's event.  And I am pleased to announce that this event is being coordinated between multiple ag groups, including the NC Agribusiness Council, NC Department of Agriculture, NC Farm Bureau, NC State University and NC State Grange.

NC Ag Awareness Day – March 18, 2015

8:00 am     Welcome Center at Kerr Scott Building Opens.  Buses begin arriving.  Continental breakfast and coffee available.

9:00 am      Shuttle Service to the General Assembly begins.  Shuttle will run every 30 minutes.

9-11:00 am      Office Visits

11:00 am         Rally at Capitol – Address by Governor, Commissioner, Senate/House leaders 

11:30-1:00 pm       Bagged lunches available at NCDA&CS 

12-2:00 pm      Office Visits

2:00 pm           Legislative Session/Joint Resolutions.

3:00 pm           Shuttle service ends.

3:30-5:00 pm   Coffee with the Governor at the Mansion 

6:00-7:30 pm   NC AgAwareness Reception with Legislators
