How To Volunteer

Thank you for your interest in becoming a Paws Patrol/Pet Partners (R) Animal Therapy Team!

Paws Patrol is a Non-Profit 501(c)3, Community Partner of Pet Partners (R) visiting more than 20 monthly visits within Albany, Americus, Leesburg, Beuna Vista, Cuthbert and Tifton.  Our registered teams provide animal assisted therapy and animal assisted activities locally, to Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital and their other facilities, nursing homes, assisted living facilities, the physically and developmentally disabled, Alzheimer Day Care, Hospice, reading programs at schools and libraries, we have taught Humane Education and Compassion at the Lee County Transitional Learning Center and want to expand our program throughout SWGA.

Please call or email Cheryl Cohen for more information and a chance to meet us.

We will encourage you to join us at one of our visits (without your pet) to meet us and see what we do. We try to get together on occasion for our "Paws Patrol Flash Mob" at a local restaurant on the patio with our registered Pet Partners (R) Therapy Animals for snacks and relaxation. The pups love to order sweet 'tater' fries.

You can take the online course or the one day Handler's Training Workshop (R) for the human end of the leash only. Our Licensed Pet Partners Instructor is Cheryl Cohen 260-409-0169 cell or email cclcohen@yahoo.com
