There will be a Soybean, Corn, & Small Grains production meeting at 10:00am on Wednesday, March 5th at the Rockingham County Extension Center, 525 NC Hwy 65, Reidsville. Speakers will include Jim Dunphy, Soybean Specialist; Ron Heiniger, Corn Specialist; Randy Weisz, Small Grains Specialist; and Wes Everman, Weed Specialist; all with the North Carolina Cooperative Extension Service. Topics will include herbicide resistance, soybean, corn, and wheat outlooks for 2014, weed and pest management, variety and population trials, and other current research being done at present with all of these crops.

For those attending, lunch will be served at 12:00 noon. There will also be two hours of pesticide recertification credit offered in the N, O, D, and X categories. This meeting will cover a lot of very important production information for the coming year, so please plan on joining us March 5th.
