NC Small Farms Week Kickoff Event

Join farmers and extension professionals from across the state at the Small Farms Week kickoff event here in Boone! Breakout sessions from 10-noon will cover local meat, hillside farming, and water issues in agriculture. Lunch will be provided by Bandanas barbecue. Following lunch, keynote Speaker, Dr. Manuel Reyes, professor of biological engineering at the School of Agriculture and Environmental Sciences at N.C. A&T will share his experience and research on ecological hillside farming.
