Pick up Free Soil Sampling kits/instructions at NC Cooperative Extension-Cabarrus County Center, 715 Cabarrus Avenue-West, Concord 28027 for lawn, garden, field and landscaping areas. Interested persons are responsible for mailing kits to NCDA Agronomic Division in Raleigh. Results are usually available online within 3 weeks. Assistance with interpreting results may be obtained from David Goforth, Extension Agent, at 704/920-3320. NOTE:There is a $4 charge for testing each sample from Nov. 27-March.
