System Superintendents, Assistant Superintendents and Finance Directors met at West Georgia RESA on March 14 for a Superintendent's Round Table discussion focused on the expanding cost of providing medical benefits to classified employees. System leaders were joined by employees of Alexander and Company and Arista Consulting Group, who facilitated a session on the historical perspective of employer insurance cost. The remainder of the session was spent exploring short and long-term solutions to mitigate rising health benefit costs.
