Mission Statement

The West Georgia RESA team is committed to promoting student achievement through collaboration, innovation, service and leadership.

West Georgia RESA presented Ron Clark's "Teaching through Adversity" seminar on January 2, 2012 at the Carrollton City Joshua Mabry Auditorium.  Over 300 area educators were on hand to hear Ron Clark share his unique experiences as America's Educator of the Year. Ron Clark's renowned Academy provides middle school students with a world-class education by ensuring engaging rigorous instruction, a high energy and technology-rich culture, and opportunities to travel the world.

Mr. Clark's dynamic presentation challenged West Georgia RESA-area educators to support one another by celebrating innovation and excellence and to expect and demand rigor in the classroom.   To learn more of the Ron Clark story visit www.ronclarkacademy.com.
