"Passion, will, courage, and unity – they are happening here at the University of Louisville. And with a unified voice, the UofL community can make education the top priority in Frankfort and Washington. We created the University of Louisville Advocacy program to engage our strongest allies, alumni and friends, to strengthen our message to the Kentucky General Assembly and the United States Congress. I cannot stress enough how important your involvement is at this crucial point in Kentucky’s and the University’s history. Together, with passion, will, courage, and unity, we can make it happen here."

What is the UofL Advocates Program?

The UofL Advocates program is a grassroots effort that relies on friends and alumni of the University of Louisville to raise public awareness about the importance of UofL to Kentucky's future. Advocates help advance the university's legislative agenda in the General Assembly by contacting their respective legislators, and raising awareness of UofL's accomplishments in their communities.

Advocates receive regular contact from the UofL Governmental Relations Office, which informs volunteers of upcoming legislative bills and other issues important to higher education in Kentucky.
