The University of Nebraska is fortunate to have the support of individuals throughout Nebraska who care about the future of the university and who have, at many critical points, voiced their support with elected leaders. This network of University Ambassadors is very important to us, and we appreciate your participation.

We recently acquired a new tool that will make it easier for you to serve as an advocate for the university, and more efficient for us to keep in touch with you. This site provides information about Nebraska public officials and detailed information on state legislative issues we are following. I hope you will join us.

Registering as a University of Nebraska Ambassador is quick, easy and secure. You will be asked to provide an email address, create a personal profile with contact information, and, if you wish,  indicate specific legislative interests and contacts. This network will be used only for the purpose of keeping you informed about legislation of interest and, on occasion, seeking your assistance in contacting public officials.

University Ambassadors help advance the university's legislative agenda and raise awareness of the University of Nebraska's accomplishments throughout the state. The network keeps alumni, parents, donors and friends informed of important issues, including budget and legislative issues and gatherings to share progress and hear your concerns and ideas.
