2017 WSRC 10 - Abstract Submission Form


The meeting will consist of invited talks and poster sessions.  Both require an abstract to be submitted, noting that the presenting author must first be registered to attend the conference.

The deadline of July 13, 2017 for abstracts is now past.  Late abstracts will continue to be accepted for poster presentations until August 31, 2017.  Abstracts received after July 13th are not guaranteed to be included in the abstract program.

Abstract specifications

  • Overall font: Arial 11 pt (like the one used here)
  • Title: Bold font. Capitalize first word and then only proper names. Non-English words should be italicized, including but not limited to species, gene, and restriction enzyme names.
  • Authors.  Italics.  For each author, give First Name, Last name.  List one author per line.
  • Institutional Affiliation. On the same line as the author, add his/her Institutional affiliation, City and Country in regular font
    • The author who will present the talk/poster needs to be indicated with an asterisk (*)
  • Abstract text.  Abstracts are short versions of the entire presentation, so please avoid phrases such as “will be presented” or “will be discussed”.

  • All abstracts must be submitted electronically using the conference portal. Abstracts submitted by email cannot be accepted.

Poster Specifications

  •  Posters are displayed directly beside each other so there is no room for horizontal sides to overflow.
  •  Posters must not exceed 44” Wide (111 cm) and 37.6” High (95 cm).

Posters will be displayed for the whole conference. Presenting authors will be expected to be available at their posters during scheduled display times, when presenting authors will have the opportunity to engage attendees and answer questions.

Late Submission Information

  •  Late poster abstract submissions may not be included in the printed Final Program.
  • A link will be provided for late abstract submissions.
