SIRS Discoverer is a general reference resource for beginning learners and researchers in upper elementary and middle school.  Discoverer helps students develop their research, writing, language, and computer skills.  Included will be subject heading and keyword searches, subject tree searches, and a discussion of featured content.  Using the various document formats within the database, such as maps, pictures and reference book resources will also be covered.  SIRS Discoverer is available through GALILEO to K-12 schools.

A Computer and telephone are required for participation.  Connection instructions will be sent to participants before the date of the session.
