Event Description

Quarterly Sales Luncheons are held the second Friday of the second month of the quarter.  Luncheons are $39 per person or annual memberships are available at $129 each.   Annual memberships include four consecutive luncheons.  Annual memberships may be held in an individual's name or company's name.   The November Luncheon's Theme is The Attitudinal Side of Sales – Developing the Mental Edge for Success.   We’ve all heard it – a positive attitude is essential for sales success.  The ability to smile in the face of rejection, to stay focused and be consistent, and to find opportunity in the sea of challenges separates professionals from amateurs in the sales arena. 

The right attitude is your single most powerful sales tool.  Learn how to turn your results around and nip negativity in the bud:   Tips to avoid a deadbeat sales attitude, Attitude “signposts” that slow you down on the sales highway, Pro actively win the mental battle by getting your head in the game, Turn the tables and generate credibility through lost sales.   Sales can be a roller coaster experience.  Discover how to enjoy the ride!      The presenter for the November session is Dr. Ian A.H. Bond, Former President of Beacon University,  now with Columbus Technical College.  Dr. Bond has gained wide experience as a business leader, senior pastor, and university president.   He worked for seven years in insurance sales in the United Kingdom, successfully building a profitable client portfolio as well as recruiting and training a national sales team, both from scratch.   He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in History and Politics from the University of Lancaster, England and a Master of Arts degree in Biblical Studies and a Doctor of Ministry from Beacon University in Columbus, GA, where he also most recently served as university president.  Ian currently serves as a counselor at Columbus Technical College and teaches part-time in continuing education at Columbus State University. He is founder and president of an educational and humanitarian non-profit agency.  He is active in several local organizations, including the Rotary Club, One Columbus, and the Springer Opera House.   Ian is married to Julie and they have two adult children.
