Event Description

Announcing the First Annual Southeast Trombone Symposium to be held June 22-26, 2010 at the Schwob School of Music at Columbus State University.  Symposium faculty include Colin Williams (principal trombone, Atlanta Symphony Orchestra), Bill Thomas (second trombone, Atlanta Symphony Orchestra), George Curran (bass trombone, Atlanta Symphony Orchestra) and Dr. Bradley Palmer (trombone professor, Columbus State University).  The Symposium will be held in the world-class facilities of the Schwob School of Music at CSU in Columbus, Georgia. One component of the Symposium will be the S.E. Shires Solo Trombone Competition. The winner will receive a custom S.E. Shires Trombone.  The Symposium participation will be limited to the first 32 applicants.
