Event Description

The Population Connection - Links to Mathematics in Grades 6-12 – November 12th, 5:00-7:00  PM

            

  • Enrich your mathematics class by including applications that reach across disciplines;
  • Learn to use a variety of value-neutral classroom activities to teach population concepts and environmental trends to your students;
  • Participate in workshop activities, including a video, quizzes, simulations, cooperative learning activities, problem solving challenges, and other experiential learning strategies;
  • Receive a newly updated CD-ROM of materials, including the activities demonstrated, answer keys, data sheets, background readings and other resources.
