The Georgia School Superintendents Association
It is estimated that as much as 75% of the work in the Superintendent's office is performed by support staff. Without a reliable and effective staff, the school district suffers. The role of the administrative assistant is extremely important and , this cannot be stressed enough, yet we don't always give them the professional learning support that they need and desire.
We have developed a two day training and networking opportunity designed specifically for superintendents' secretaries and/or administrative assistants. It's an opportunity for administrative assistants to step away from the office and meet other individuals like them, to share ideas, and to learn from one another.
As a key support person in the superintendent's office, administrative assistants provide a wide variety of assistance. Each attendee will be trained on skill sets that will help make the district office more effective and efficient.
