Training Description:

Internet crimes are becoming increasingly prevalent, and you need to know how they are perpetrated, and their effect on victims!

Join Sergeant Paul Pesmark of the Detroit Police Department, and APA Greg Justice for this important training, providing you a look into this growing issue.

First, Sgt. Paul Pesmark will speak on Cyber Bullying, Sexting, and “Sextortion” and the ease with which it is accomplished through social media. He will also discuss cyber crimes such as hacking, and other forms of unauthorized access, as well as the use of computers and cellular devices to detonate explosives.

Through his presentation, Paul will help you understand what laws are being broken, what possible punishments are, and what can be done to prevent internet crimes.

APA Greg Justice will present a compelling session on Revenge Pornography and Domestic Violence. Through his program, you will learn the motivation behind these forms of internet crime and intimate partner violence. He will discuss applicable laws and present case studies.

Greg will offer insight into the emerging trends of revenge pornography, and what the victim advocate and prosecutor can do about cyber harassment, and other types of intimate partner cyber crimes.
