This two day course is aimed at county prosecutors who have district court trial experience and are transitioning to circuit court or for attorneys who practice in circuit court but have less than three years’ experience. The training will focus on issues that arise more frequently in felony trial practice, including the proper use of inconsistent statements, impeachment and character evidence, use of 404(b) evidence, expert witnesses and Daubert hearings, avoiding appellate error, the correct use of
hearsay and prosecuting second degree murder vehicular homicide cases, to name
just a few topics.

are provided to COUNTY PROSECUTORS and their employees courtesy of the
Prosecuting Attorneys Coordinating Council (PACC) Training Fund. The registration
fee listed is discounted to reflect the portion covered by PACC. This
registration fee is to be paid by you or your agency.

p.m. September 16, 2016 will
