COURSE DESCRIPTION
The Prosecuting Attorneys Association of Michigan invites you to attend the “Crash to Courtroom” training on October 18-19, 2017. This two-day course focuses on increasing the ability of Michigan prosecutors and crash reconstruction officers to communicate effectively and confidently in the courtroom. The course includes mock court exercises with actual jurors using a crash case scenario. Our presenter Professor John Kwasnoski has reconstructed over a thousand crashes and has testified in numerous cases of national significance. The goals of this training include:
• Understanding the importance of credibility building during testimony.
• Developing skills that will enhance the connection between the crash reconstruction witness and jurors.
• Gaining insight into defense trial strategies and understanding the “rules.”
REGISTRATION DEADLINE
September 15, 2017. Registration is limited to 30 attendees and is online only!

Elected County Prosecutors and Staff**
$40 with or without overnight accommodations
**Overnight lodging (2 nights if your home or work is 50 miles or more away) and meals (breakfast & lunch) are provided to COUNTY PROSECUTORS and thier employees courtesy of the Prosecuting Attorneys Coordinating Council (PACC) Training Fund. This fee does not apply to city/municiple prosecutors. The registration fee listed is discounted to reflect the portion covered by PACC. This additional fee is to be paid for by you or your agency.
HOTEL ACCOMMODATIONS
Overnight accommodations will be located at the Staybridge Suites in Marquette. PAAM will provide a rooming list to Staybridge. Please be sure to select your overnight request accordingly when registering. Cancellations received by 5 p.m. October 10, 2017 will be entitled to a full refund.
