Cell Phone Technology and Intimate Partner Violence
July 13, 2017
PAAM Offices - Lansing
PAAM's Violence Against Women Project brings this informal webinar training to Michigan’s prosecutors and law enforcement officers to hear from Corporal James Isaacs, from the Dearborn Police Department. Corporal Isaacs has special training in cell phone forensics and brings his expertise and experience to this webinar hoping to increase knowledge about more effectively using cell phones, and their data, in investigating and prosecuting Intimate Partner Violence. This webinar will discuss a variety of topics, such as more effectively using the historical call detail, what information can be obtained from the actual phone, what is actually needed to establish probable cause for the issuance of a warrant with regards to cell phones, and more.
This is a Polycom-web training, which will allow for in-person attendance or attendance via the internet. The training will occur in the Walker Boardroom at the PAAM office in Lansing. It will be held on July 13, from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM. There is no charge for this training.
Registration is required whether you will
be attending in person or participating online. We encourage in-person attendance, but due to the limited space to accommodate the webinar component, we can accommodate no more than 15 attendees.
