Course Description
The Elder Justice Project of the Prosecuting Attorneys Association of Michigan is hosting a one-day free training on Investigating Crimes Against Vulnerable Adults will provide attendees with the necessary skills and tools on how to identify  abuse, how to properly investigate abuse and how to use the resources of community partners to combat the issue of crimes against vulnerable adults.
 
Topics covered will be:
  • Types of Crimes against Vulnerable Adults
  • Identifying Abuse 
  • Financial Exploitations
CE credits and MCOLES credit will be available for social workers and law enforcement. Breakfas, Lunch and break/snack  refreshments will be provided.
 
Who Should Attend?
 
This training has been designed for Prosecutors, Law Enforcement, Adult Protective Services Workers, Financial Institutions, Assisted Living professionals, Advocates and all professionals who work in the care and assistance of vulnerable adults in the state of Michigan

If you register and do not attend or cancel registration by September 8th, 2017, you will be 100% responsible for the total cost of registration and meals.
