Training Description:
The Prosecuting Attorneys Coordinating Council (PACC), in conjunction with the Prosecuting Attorneys Association of Michigan (PAAM), is pleased to present the 2018 Prosecutor Staff Development Conference on May 1-2 at the Crystal Mountain Resort in Thompsonville, Michigan.

-- Hot Topics: Pending Legislation and NextGen
-- CCH and Live Scan: How it Works
-- The Process in Determining Competency and Criminal Responsibility (NGRI/GRMI)
-- Records Retention Guidelines for Prosecutors' Offices
Plan to arrive for REGISTRATION from 10:30 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 1. The program will begin at 11:00 a.m.
Who Should Attend?
All office professionals who serve Michigan's prosecuting attorneys, i.e. secretaries, office managers, paralegals, and victim advocates.
Registration Cost:
The registration fee is $40. Attendees will be provided lodging for one night (May 1) at Crystal Mt. Resort, handouts, breaks, and meals (beginning with lunch on Tuesday, May 1, through lunch on Wednesday, May 2). This conference is financially supported by PACC Training Funds. PACC cannot pay for lodging for attendees whose office or home (whichever is closer) is less than 50 miles from Thompsonville.
Hotel Accommodations:
PACC will make attendee lodging reservations. Attendees will receive single-occupancy lodging for one night (May 1) at Crystal Mt. Resort. Attendees will be responsible to pay $20 per person, per night for additional adults staying overnight in their room. Upon check-in, attendees will be asked to present a credit card to cover incidental charges.
Attendees who require lodging the night before the conference (Monday night, April 30), should contact Marcia Beatty, PACC Conference Coordinator, at (517) 334-6060 ext. 803. They will receive the state rate of $75, and will be required to pay Crystal Mt. Resort upon check-out.
