The Prosecuting Attorneys Association of Michigan, Child Abuse Training Services, in cooperation with the Prosecuting Attorneys Coordinating Council, and the Department of Health & Human Services (DHHS) is pleased to present a cross-professional Specialized Investigative Child Abuse Training on the topics of suspect interrogation, signs & symptoms of child abuse and perpetrator grooming behaviors.  This training will begin with registration at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday, Nov 1 and conclude by 4:30 p.m.

 

  • Learn predator behaviors & how they gain access to children
  • Gain knowledge on interviewing & interrogating child abuse suspects/predators. 

            **See video of a suspect/perpetrator interrogation.

  • Is that a bruise or blueberry jam? Learn signs and symptoms of child sexual & physical abuse & learn medical terminology to impress your friends!

 

This seminar is designed for prosecuting attorneys, assistant prosecuting attorneys, CPS workers, police officers, and CAC interviewers who are involved with child abuse investigations or prosecution.  Details regarding this seminar will be posted soon.

 

There is no tuition charge or charge for materials for this seminar.  Attendees are responsible for overnight accommodations, transportation, meals, and other incidental costs.
