NEW DATE: September 25, 2018

The Prosecuting Attorneys Coordinating Council (PACC), in cooperation with the Prosecuting Attorneys Association of Michigan (PAAM), is pleased to present this important webinar to assist prosecutors' understanding of the statutory scheme and case law surrounding the Indian Child Welfare Act, Michigan Indian Family Preservation Act, relative to Qualified Expert Witnesses.  Attention to these statutes along with case law, when handling child protection cases involving Native American children is vitally important.  This webinar will assist prosecutors in navigating the legal requirements, and understanding the reasons behind them.

The webinar will be broadcast from the PAAM office in Lansing. On-site attendance is available, but limited to the first 20 registrants.  There is no charge for this training.

Registration is required whether you will be attending in person or participating online.
