On November 6, 2018, Michigan voted to legalize recreational marihuana.  In light of the new law, it is important for law enforcement officers to know what to look for in an impaired driver involving ONLY marihuana.

This half-day seminar will cover the following areas:

  • An overview of the new law
  • General indicators of impairment caused by cannabis
  • How to proceed after the stop
  • Courtroom testimony in a driving under the influence of cannabis case

Prosecutors, APAs, City Attorneys, Law Enforcement and other Traffic Safety Professionals.

EVENT SCHEDULE
Registration and Breakfast: 8:00 a.m.
Program: 8:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

REGISTRATION FEE
$20. Hotel accommodations are on your own. There are a limited number of rooms blocked at the hotel, room block information will be provided upon registration.  This training is not eligible for PACC Training Funds.  Breakfast is included.
