the PAAM VAWP for their new 2-day Domestic Violence Homicide Trial Advocacy
Training on October 15-16, 2019. This is a FREE, highly interactive 2-day
training in Bay City. Cases involving intimate partner violent present with
their own set of challenges, difficulties, and sometimes negative public
perceptions. Combine these cases with the dynamics of Homicide charges, and you
may be juggling a complex and emotionally charged case as you head into trial.
This training is designed to assist prosecutors in every stage of the legal
process, from signing the warrant, to presenting an effective, persuasive
closing argument to the jury. Training is appropriate for prosecutors or
assistant prosecutors handling these difficult DV cases. The following

We are providing overnight hotel accommodations on the nights of October 14th and 15th if you live over 50 miles from the training site. Please be sure to designate whether or not you will need lodging. We will not be providing breakfast for this training; however, lunch will be provided at this training, so please designate any dietary restrictions. Please know that you will be asked to bring youor laptop for the Visual Trial portion of this training.
