Online Webinar - GoToWebinar

Victims with mental health issues can present unique challenges when prosecuting domestic violence or sexual assault cases.  Please join Elinor Jordan, Senior Program Manager at the Survivior Law Clinic, as well as Erica Smith, PAAM's Violence Against Women Training Attorney as they talk about some basic information regarding mental health concerns and how it can impact your victim throughout the course of your case.  They will give you some tips on how best to engage with these victims, as well as, some legal strategies regarding what may need to be disclosed and how to respond to defense challenges to your victim.

Additional Registration Information. This webinar will be hosted on the platform GoToWebinar. Closer to the training, you will receive an email from GoToWebinar detailing how to join the webinar on November 8th. Sometimes email servers block messages from this platform, so if by the morning of November 8th you have not received an email, please email Erica. Any questions about this process can be directed to Erica Smith at SmithE53@michigan.gov.
