Online Training - via Zoom

The Prosecuting Attorneys Association of Michigan, Child Abuse Prosecution Resources Unit, is pleased to present a training for prosecutors on jury Selection in Child Victim Cases on September 2, 2021. This training will run from 12:30pm-4:30 pm via Zoom.   This is a FREE, interactive training specifically for prosecutors and assistant prosecutors.

Cases where children are victims of child abuse or child sexual abuse present unique challenges.  The cases can be won or lost in jury selection. This training will cover the legal issues in selecting juries, how juror's perceptions of you can affect your case, what types of jurors you are looking for, questions that will get you the jurors you need and we will have some practical exercises to hone those jury selection skills.
