PAC will reimburse eligible* participants for a maximum of two nights of lodging unless the participant’s documented point of departure is 300 or more miles away from the Jekyll Island Convention Center, in which case the participant may be reimbursed for the lodging for the night before the conference. Participants claiming three nights lodging will need to document the distance traveled on the reimbursement request (a printout of driving directions from MapQuest, Google Maps or a similar program is acceptable). PAC has negotiated rates with area hotels so the maximum amount that PAC will reimburse is $115 per night. Receipts for lodging are required. Participants whose office or residence (whichever is closest) is located within a 50-mile radius of Jekyll Island are not eligible to be reimbursed for lodging.

PAC will not reimburse for breakfast or lunch on Tuesday, July 27 or for breakfast on Wednesday, July 28 as those meals will be provided to you at the Jekyll Island Convention Center. There will be no food available at the conference center during registration on Monday, July 26th.  Please remember to eat lunch BEFORE the conference begins.  All other meals will be reimbursed according to the State Travel Regulations.

For state-paid personnel, travel by state or county government vehicle is required and carpooling is encouraged. Requests for reimbursements of mileage for travel by personal vehicle must certify that no state or county vehicle was available to use. The registration fee is not reimbursable.
