Effective July 1, 2018, reimbursement for attending PAC sponsored training events for Solicitors-General and Assistant Solicitors-General will be capped at $500 per person, per fiscal year to be applied to any single training event.  Non-prosecutor staff employed by Solicitors-General will not be eligible for reimbursement.

PAC will reimburse the following for meals (PAC does not reimburse for meals provided):
Breakfast: $6.00 (Complimentary Breakfast provided at the Holiday Inn & Suites Stockbridge)
Lunch: $7.00
Dinner: $15.00

Reimbursement of attendees for the 2019 Crimes Against Children Conference is based on the availability of state funds for that purpose.  For District Attorney personnel, reimbursements come out of the approved travel budget for the Judicial Circuit.  State Court Solicitors-General personnel are reimbursed out of a separate fund. Employees of other agencies are not eligible for reimbursement by PAC.

PAC will reimburse eligible participants a maximum of two nights lodging unless the participant’s documented point of departure is 300 or more miles away from PAC Office in Morrow, in which case the participant may be reimbursed lodging for the night before the conference. For State paid & SPCR participants that are required to submit for reimbursement through Concur, the 300 miles should be determined by the built-in "mileage calculator."  Non-state employees should validate the distance by submitting a mapquest route map along with their reimbursement form.  THERE WILL BE NO EXCEPTION TO THIS RULE.

PAC has negotiated rates with an area hotel so the maximum amount that PAC will reimburse is $99 per night. Receipts for lodging are required. Participants whose office and residence is located within a 50-mile radius of PAC are not eligible to be reimbursed for lodging.

For state-paid personnel, travel by state or county government vehicle is required when there is a government vehicle available; carpooling is encouraged.

You must be registered for the conference and pay the registration fee in order to be eligible for reimbursement. PAC Policy 7.1(f). In addition, you must attend 80% or more of the CLE hours scheduled during the Conference to be eligible for reimbursement for the entire conference. If you have a valid excuse for not attending the full Conference, you may be reimbursed for the sessions that you actually attended. The registration and CLE fee is not reimbursable.

Requests for reimbursement for travel expenses should be submitted within 10 days of the completion of travel unless the amount sought is less than $10.00.  If the amount claimed is less than $10.00, it may be held until a reimbursement of at least $10 is due.  Requests for reimbursement which are submitted after 60 days are required to be treated as taxable income to the individual.

Please note that we do not reimburse mileage to county employees.

For any questions regarding reimbursement procedures you may contact Mark Williams at (770)282-6300.
