This Course focuses on the unique challenges of prosecuting the ever growing number of drug-impaired driver cases each of us sees on a daily basis. The Curriculum was adapted from NHTSA Courses and has been updated to reflect the issues most commonly faced in drug DUI cases here in the Commonwealth. A hallmark of the curriculum is the cooperation between officers and prosecutors as each learns more about how the other must proceed in a case.
This course has been approved for 14 CLE credits. The course is limited to twenty prosecutors and twenty police officers on a first-come basis.
The PDAI has once again partnered with the Pennsylvania DUI association in presenting this course. Through this partnership, the DUI Association will be offering scholarships to any interested police officer who provides a short statement describing their observations and comments on DUI-D enforcement and prosecution in their jurisdictions. Statements should be sent to David J. Drumheller, TSRP by email at ddrumheller@pdaa.org no later than March 29, 2018.
Enter your email above to continue the registration process. If you prefer you can download and mail-in a registration form. Payment must be made at the time of registration. If you are a police officer applying for a scholarship you must pay the scholarship registration fee at the time of registration. The remainder of your registration fee will be paid by the DUI Association upon receipt of your short statement.
No refunds will be issued for cancellations received on or after March 29, 2018. Substitute attendees, however, are permissible anytime. Scholarship recipients who fail to attend the course will be required to pay the remainder of the registration fee and any applicable fees or costs incurred as a result.
