Wilkes-Barre Regional MDIT Training

Training Objectives

 • Provide regional educational forum for county MDIT’s
 • Breakout sessions to address various levels of MDIT development
 • Improve networking, mentoring and information sharing between county MDIT’s, PDAI, PCCD and DHS
 • Improve knowledge of child sexual exploitation and trafficking among all PA counties and investigations of those cases

Teams are encouraged to attend but it is not required.

Scholarship Information 

The Pennsylvania District Attorneys Institute is offering twelve scholarships per training for the Regional MDIT Trainings. The scholarship is funded through a grant awarded to the PDAI by the Pennsylvania Commission on Crime and Delinquency and will be awarded on a first come first served basis. Priority will be given to teams, but individuals will be considered. The PDAI will cover the registration and lodging costs for the scholarship recipients.

A Pre-Course survey is included when you register online. If you choose to fax, mail or email your registration forms, you will recieve a phone call from PDAI in order to complete this survey. You MUST complete this survey in order to be registered for this course.

Accommodations

A block of rooms has been reserved at the Mohegan Sun Pocono at the rate of $93.00 per night, single or double occupancy plus state and local taxes. The room rate is a separate charge paid directly to the Mohegan Sun Pocono. Cancellations 

Cancellations received on or before Friday, May 3, 2019 will be refunded the full registration fee. No refunds can be issued for cancellations received after Friday, May 3, 2019; however, substitutions are permissible. You must also call the hotel directly at 888-WIN-IN-PA to cancel your room reservation. Cancellations of credit card transactions will be assessed a 3% processing fee. Refunds will be made via check from PDAI.
