Victim Services Foundational Academy
Registration
Registration is now open for the April 24 – 26 State College Foundational Academy. Registration closes on March 22nd, 2019. No room reservations can be made after that date. Registration for this conference is restricted to victim advocates currently employed in Pennsylvania and funded through VOCA, RASA and/or VOJO funding and providing services to all forms of crime victims. Priority will be given to those for whom attendance is mandatory. The PDAI reserves the right to decline registrants who do not meet the criteria.
Attendance is limited to 75 participants. Registrations will be accepted on a first come, first served basis. To register, submit your email address above. If you are registering multiple people for your agency, please ensure that all participant email addresses are included as there will be multiple emails sent to the participants.
Cancellations
Please keep in mind that there is always a significant waiting list for Foundational Academy. Please inform the PDAI Training Consultant ASAP if you need to cancel your reservation. For cancellations received after April 12th, 2019, your agency will be charged for the cost of the provided food, accommodations, and training materials.
Accommodations
This training will take place at the Hyatt Place State College. Hotel rooms from April 23-26 are included in the registration for the Foundational Academy. If you need overnight accommodations, this information must be requested during the registration process. Registrations requesting overnight accommodations must be made prior to March 22nd, 2019 to guarantee the rooms. Registrations after this date will not be guaranteed hotel accommodations.

Course Materials
Course materials will be provided to attendees when they arrive at the Academy. Additionally, participants will receive information regarding online courses that are required as part of the Foundational Academy. These courses are part of the curriculum and must be completed prior to receiving a Certificate of Completion.
Please note that an agenda for the course will be sent to all participants closer to the training date. The agenda has been developed with all requirements in mind and all participants are expected to be present for all sessions in order to receive credit for the in-person academy.
