This legislation adds sexual orientation and gender identity to the list of protected class under state discrimination laws. It also adds a state level of enforcement of discrimination based upon race, religion, national origin, sex, sexual orientation and gender identity for places of public accommodation, such as stadiums, theaters, concert halls and other places of exhibition or entertainment.
