This legislation requires counties with a population over 100,000 to only pursue a suspect in a vehicle if there is probable cause to believe that he or she is or has committed murder, aggravated battery, kidnapping, false imprisonment, rape, armed robbery or other offenses that create an immediate threat of death or serious bodily injury to another person.
