03.29.2018 The Senate Finance Sales and Income Tax subcommittee gave this bill a favorable report as amended. The amendment adds a minimum 20 percent property tax credit; caps local sales tax at 9 percent; allows a city to initiate the sales tax referendum county wide and allows a city to initiate a municipal tax referendum if the county vote fails and allows a county to waive a referendum. 03.13.2018 The Senate Finance Sales and Income Tax subcommittee carried this bill over.
