Summary: Local Government Efficiency Act
    A BILL TO AMEND THE CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, BY ADDING SECTION 5-3-105 SO AS TO ENACT THE "LOCAL GOVERNMENT EFFICIENCY ACT" TO AUTHORIZE THE GOVERNING BODY OF A MUNICIPALITY TO ANNEX AN AREA BY ORDINANCE IF THE AREA DOES NOT EXCEED TWENTY-FIVE ACRES AND IS COMPLETELY SURROUNDED BY THE MUNICIPALITY, AND TO PROVIDE EXCEPTIONS AND PROCEDURES.
