Summary: Statewide telecommunications system
    A BILL TO AMEND SECTION 23-47-10, AS AMENDED, CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, RELATING TO CERTAIN TERMS AND THEIR DEFINITIONS CONCERNING THE CREATION AND IMPLEMENTATION OF A STATEWIDE EMERGENCY TELECOMMUNICATIONS SYSTEM, SO AS TO DEFINE THE TERM "FIRST RESPONDER"; AND BY ADDING SECTION 23-47-85 SO AS TO PROVIDE 911 PROFESSIONAL FIRST RESPONDERS ARE ENTITLED TO CERTAIN BENEFITS.
