    A BILL TO AMEND THE SOUTH CAROLINA CODE OF LAWS BY ADDING SECTION 59-1-456 SO AS TO PROVIDE THAT EMPLOYERS ANNUALLY MAY GRANT EMPLOYEES SPECIFIED AMOUNTS OF ADDITIONAL PAID LEAVE TO ATTEND CERTAIN PUBLIC SCHOOL FUNCTIONS OR ENGAGE IN VOLUNTEER TEACHING ACTIVITIES IN PUBLIC SCHOOLS DURING THE EMPLOYEE'S WORK HOURS, TO PROVIDE THESE EMPLOYERS SHALL RECEIVE SPECIFIED INCENTIVES FOR PROVIDING SUCH LEAVE, AND TO SPECIFY RELATED PROCEDURES NECESSARY TO IMPLEMENT THESE PROVISIONS.
