Staff Analysis of the Legislation

Summary of the bill as introduced: Requires that any property seized by a law enforcement agency with or without a warrant be returned to its lawful owner within 30 days of its seizure unless a court determines that probable cause exists to allow the agency to maintain possession of the property. |
