03.13.2013 A Senate Judiciary subcommittee gave this bill a favorable report with amendments. The amendment clarifies intent to commit identify fraud and gives the prosecution the option to prosecute a case in either where the jurisdiction occurs or where the victim resides.
Summary of the bill as introduced: Add conforming language contained in financial transaction card crime to provide that it is not a defense when some of the acts of the crime did not occur in this state or within a city, county or local jurisdiction.
