02.26.2014 The House 3M Local Government and Corrections Affairs subcommittee gave this bill a favorable report with an amendment. The amendment excludes incorporated municipalities within a county unless the municipality has entered into an agreement with the county allowing such enforcement within the municipality’s boundaries.
Summary of the bill as introduced: Authorizes a county council to adopt an ordinance requiring a property owner of property located in unincorporated areas of the county to keep a lot or other property clean and free of rubbish.
