Summary of the bill as introduced: Requires the governor to develop a protection plan to minimize the actual and potential costs and effects of identity theft due to the cyber security breach at the Department of Revenue by providing identity theft protection and identity theft resolution services. The bill further mandates a local government to abide by cyber security polices, guidelines and standards to be created by the new State Chief Information Security Officer.
