Staff Analysis of the Legislation

Summary of the bill as introduced: Requires the State Election Commission to report the names of all polling precincts with more than 2,500 registered voters and requires the county registration boards to make adjustments to the precincts so that no one precinct has more than 2,500 registered voters. This bill also prohibits municipality pooled precincts from having more than 2,500 registered voters.
