Summary of the bill as introduced: Requires certain causes of action to be filed in magistrates' court and allows a state agency or political subdivision to be represented by a department manager, staff person or another official in certain actions. This bill also increases the jurisdiction for certain claims brought pursuant to the Tort Claims Act.
